more reds

This morning I saw another red dot had been painted next to the other.
This will go on and on for the next couple of days or even weeks.
As I count the buds...there are so many!
and this is not the only papaver in my garden.

One is on the edge of springing open.
the red breaking out as if the green coat has gotten too small
