last day of 2011

Its the last day of the year 2011.
Somehow the year always seems to fly away too quickly.

My garden has made its own fireworks
of sparkling bright drops shining in a greyish cloudy rainy day.
Shining, sparkling away & saying goodbye to the last hours and minutes of the year.
Have a sparkly last hours of the year too!

Dovetales

Today I received my new fresh stamps,
which I had ordered from the Dutch snailmailpostservice.

In Holland you can order you own designed stamps.
Which I think is great...!

spring waiting

Yesterday I went to a garden centre.
Not for a X-mas tree or X-mas balls, or anything like that.
As a matter of fact, I never put up a X-mas tree.
I don't like them to be honest.

What I bought was bulbs...!
Lots of bulbs...!
already sprouting...
I planted them in my garden and in a big zinc pot.
lots of crocus, scillas, and snow drops.

In expectation of new life coming soon.

Fluffy 9

The curly twirly thread had twisted all around Fluffy.

He looked at it and said to himself: Hey, a new warm coat!
I think I like this one.
It fits perfectly.
I gone wear this one for the cold and rainy days....
It makes me twirl and spin too!

Fluffy 8

It did not take long that Fluffy came out from under the cupboard.
His beak full of the red round thing,
which had changed in a ball of untidy curly long thread.

Fluffy 7

Fluffy almost disappeared.

Fluffy 6

It looked as if the red thing had moved back just enough to be out of reach of the paws.

Fluffy crawled under the cupboard
so that he could touch the red round thing.

Fluffy 5

It starts getting fun now...being very curious,
Fluffy ran to the other side of the cupboard,
to see if he could grab it from there.

Tuesday, December 13, 2011

Fluffy 4

Fluffy stretched both of his paws as far as he could stretch under the cupboard,
but his paws were too short, to grab the red thing.

Sunday, December 11, 2011

Fluffy 3

It looked as if the red round thing was scared.
It rolled away hiding under the cupboard.

Thursday, December 08, 2011

Fluffy 2

He looked curiously, at the round red thing,
Fluffy stretched his paw and gave it a tap with his left paw
The red thing started to roll.

Fluffy 01

This is Fluffy,
He sees a red round thing on the floor...

picking berries 2

I just had changed the berries.
had bought some new fresh ones.

Of course the Fluffy, curious...,you see him thinking: What's that red thing over there?
Than here is proof...he picks the berries,
On the middle photo, you can see the berry drops to the table.

So in a couple of days we have redberry pie.

picking berries

Not only Polly is good at picking berries.(see Polly-story)

It looks like Fluffy has read my little story.
I think the Fluffy wants to make a great PurplePinkBlueBerrypie too!

blinking

It does not become more than that today:

Just a small hole in the air,
with fast moving clouds passing along.
making the hole in the air kind of blinking at me(you)

Robintime

Its robin time again.
As it is colder and rainy,
robin comes closer to the house,
to inspect if there are some things...you never know...interesting things to eat.
Every year I wonder what kind of robin comes to visit this winter season.
As they always come from the more northern countries to spend winter here.
Will it be a shy one?
or a very brave courageous one?
Some times they are very tame.

I cannot tell yet what kind of type my new robin is.

copycat

Are cats copycats?
Is that what they name it like that? copying each other?

I did not know, but it seems to be true...
Bibi always is the one who like the colored paintwater very much,
as you can see: here,
That's why (last time) I try to refresh the paintwater regulary, so that the cats don't paint themselves blue, red or green inside.
Somehow the paint water seems to taste much better.

The Fluffy seems to like the paint water...just as much.
