Its the last day of the year 2011.Somehow the year always seems to fly away too quickly.
My garden has made its own fireworks
of sparkling bright drops shining in a greyish cloudy rainy day.
Shining, sparkling away & saying goodbye to the last hours and minutes of the year.
Have a sparkly last hours of the year too!

Great capture of the droplets! They do remind me of the fireworks I remember from my childhood. They were called Sparklers, and they were on a stem we held in our hands. I can still hear my mother say, "Away from your eyes! Hold them away from your eyes!" That was 50 years ago - a good memory.
Today is clear with lots of sunshine and mild temperatures (well, mild for Winter!). We've had freezing temperatures at night already and will have many more as we move into January and February.
I hope the New Year holds bundles of blessings for you!
