Frost

A few days ago, there were these beautiful frosty sugar-coatings on the grass and flowers.
Amazing when the sun played with it and broke the lights into beautiful diamonds all over the garden.
 

Robin

It has been freezing again this night.
I'm making sure that the birds have something yummy to eat.
Robin has found the feeding-table. He's all rounded up now to keep warm.
 

Frosted

Haven't been uploading for a too long time, due to several reasons. I Hope to be able to catch up again more regularly. 

Its freezing during the night and that gives the budding flowers a beautiful sugarcoated look.

Somehow they are well able to endure the cold.

This morning, when I looked out of my window
there had formed overnight icy crystals on every plant and leaf.
The grass was white as well.
with beautiful drops of ice on the top.

Robin came along to have some ice water.
He even dares to walk on the ice...

Small twinkling diamonds in the frozen grass, when the sun catches the frosted icicles.

Hairy frost

Beautiful hairy frost on the roof of the feeding house for the birds.
Only one night below zero created a kind of 'warm' hairy furcoat on the house.

Robin

About a week ago, when it was freezing and cold.

Walking on water (Ice)

Robin dared to walk on the frozen pond.
It looks like he is walking on water.
Maybe he is.
It takes courage to walk on unknown paths you never have been before.

Diamonds

Lots of sparkling diamonds in the grass.

Glass/ice

Last night it has been freezing.
The water in my little pond is looking like a glass window.
Reflections of the sky and clouds in rippling glass.
Slowly the sun is melting the glassy layer.

Icy apples

This morning...beautiful white everywhere.
Melting away too soon.
Just in time to catch a glimpse of the frozen icy apples.

Frosted grasses

When going low, down to earth on my knees,
the world looks amazing after a night of freezing.
