I think myself with You,

In Germany, where these cards have been published....

In dutch it would be: Ik denk mij bij Jou

Tommy is becoming a real popular Topmodel in Germany.

TOMMY.... TOPCAT......YAHOOOO!

post-card

Some weeks ago I received from my publisher in Germany,
a new card, with one of my blackbirds bathing in the birdbath.

with a beautiful matching enveloppe.
to be sold in German speaking languages.
I really like this one.

birth of 8 cards

Who could think of that exactly 9 month ago I made a post of 'birth of promises'...
for complete view : see link to archives: birth of promises

I then photographed & drew 8 storks carrying a baby!16--04-07

Now the cards are printed..... 8 babies equals 8 different cards !! The cards were delivered this monday!14-01-08

This is exactly 9 months ago! that I made those 8 storks with a promisebaby.
I did not know at that time What exactly these promises were in reality.
But now 9 months later 8 babys are born!!!!!!!!!!
Only I'm now waiting for the "clothes=envelopes" to arrive.
I could not have counted such a precise timing
This cannot be Someone else like God!....
Thanx so much to the Lord of Hosts...who counts even the numbers of my hair!

I am quite a bit astonished

multiplication of my fish!

Today I went to the printingoffice, because today my cards were going to print!
I went for a last color-control-check at the beginning of the multiplication.
That to me was very .... like brrr....brrrr... shake, tremble
I hope everything goes alright!

As I arrived I saw this very big huge Heidelberg running.
I love Heidelbergers! we had them on the academy of art too...a very old one, but such a beautiful machine...even the noise they make I like.
and than the smell of printing-ink...I love that smell....its smells to me like a perfume...
no I 'm not joking.
and there it was...all my prints running through it.
Immediately at first glance, I knew I had nothing to worry..the prints were excellent.!!!!!!
sighhh...very excellent....! beautiful!!!!!!!!
such a relief!
My dream coming true...having cards...of my paintings, as I like them.
multiplication of my fish!

cards

tomorrow my cards will be printed.
saw the digital prints... on the last day of 2007
and they looked great!
so I hope and pray that these cards will come out very beautiful...
in the new year!

new card

Today, surprise surprise......!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I received from my publisher in Germany,
the card from my bathing robin.

Its always a surprise, because I don't know what kind of text they added to the card,
and how it will look like in print... what color enveloppe....etcetera etc.
and of course its in German
Is says free translated: being cheerful, doing good, and letting the birds sing.

The cards will be sold in the shops in spring 2008.

One of my dreams, for a long... long time is:
to have cards published from my paintings (see www.iwings.eu)
This summer I decided to jump into the deep waters,
not knowing where this journey will lead me.

I only knew I wanted to do it, and just start with the beginnings
So I made preparations to find out all the hows, where's do's and don'ts.
I faced many mountains of obstacles.
For me I am not such an organised person,
actualy to be honest, I hate planning and organising things.

But now the cards are ready to be printed
and I expect them to be printed end of this month.

If you are interested for buying : please sent email.
the cards are going to be wrapped in beautiful enveloppes,
matching perfectly with the card .

Tommy on postcard

Tommy has been printed on postcards.!!!!!!!!
On the photo he is very curiously inspecting his image on the card

The text on the card is in German language,
because my publisher is in Germany. Kunst und Bild www.kunstundbild.de
On the double card, it says : 'Ich denke mich zu Dir'

The other card says: Ich denke mich zu Dir,. Dann sind wir einander nah!
so my Tommy can think in German!
I never knew he was able to do so.

Free translated it says: 'I think myself with you, Then we are close together.'
The cards are going to be sold in bookshops in Germany, Switzerland and Denmark.

This year there will follow some more cards of my birds.
