Young Coal-tit

This morning I discovered a baby coal-tit, loudly calling for his mom.
I told him to stay there for a while, so I could get my camera.
He did. When I came back he still sat there loudly calling for mom or daddy.

He is so adorable.

Blue-tits are out!

Last Saturday it was The day for the blue-tits to take off.
It took a whole day, for them to fly out one by one.

I don't know how many have been born. (they can have 5 -12 young)
Such a great sight to see them peek out the hole.
I wonder what they are thinking...when they see there is a whole world out there.
And fly into the unknown.
That's a challenge. There is no option to stay inside the small box.
Freedom always wins.

Blue-tits almost done

Blue-tits are almost done.
One young is peaking out of the nestbox, looking out to see what's outside of the box.
Mother and father blue-tit flying to and fro with endless caterpillars and other insects.
So good to see a new breed, almost ready for flying.

Blue-tits out

Just when I was outside, (it was extremely warm today)
I happened to see a blue-tit young flying out of the nestbox!
I was amazed to be right on the right time to be present.
I ran inside to get my cam...others might follow too!

One young was peeking all the time out, but he still did not dare yet.
The parents still feed him.
I wonder how many were in...
I think the others were already gone, before I found out.

Coals out!

I was just in time.
I wanted to get something from behind the house
and then suddenly I noticed that the young baby-coals were planning to go out!
I ran inside to grab my camera.

I saw the first one fly out, flying into a nearby tree,
and than the second peeking out...flying into the arch...
Then the third coal and so on and on.
one after another...
the photos explain the rest..
I was so happy to be witness of the all the little coals flying out!
