I always have this feeling when autumn arrives...'Oh no!!! not yet! please stay away a bit longer'        Please wait...shorter days...colder temperatures, raining... falling leaves...No not today!

However fact is, that I cannot ignore the presence of autumn, nor hold on tight to summer. 

Anyway, today I looked at the leaves and noticed how a worm or a caterpillar had eaten a way though the leaf.

It's interesting to see what shapes he has made...lines, squares, dots and more funny shapes.

Actually I always wondered who would do that, which creature I mean. Is it a worm, a bug or caterpillar. Who is doing this? Then on the second last photo I spotted a small caterpillar when I looked at the photos on my computer.(when you click the image it more visible)

The beech is dropping its seeds in an abundant way, never saw so many seeds on a tree.
The little seed-containers are opening up, some completely, yielding, spreading wide open, others half way.The result is the same; everywhere there are nuts.

Purples and blues

Beautiful purples and blues, the ones I so love,
now appearing in a hydrangea in my garden.
Such a surprise.

Autumn leaves

A thick layer of beech leaves was covering my entire garden.

Beech tree dropping them almost all, in one week.

Making path, driveway and grass invisible.

Lovely walking through, because of the crispy sound.

Before they were blown away into the leaves container, 

I quickly put some memories on my memory card.

Rain

Yesterday my internet connection was out. no mail, no surfing, no phone..
Today it still did not work!

I phoned my provider, and found the problem…at least it is working now again.
Yesterday it was raining all day long, not like today as it was a nice autumn day.

Spiders are not really my favorites,
yet, if you have a glance at their houses,
and the sun playing around...
it looks like a symphony in many colors.

The fruit of autumn has arrived.

The last couple of weeks I was in denial that summer had gone out.
because the weather was still warm and lovely, but somehow...
I felt and smelled autumn in the air.

The little malus apples have become firy red!

There are lots of kind of rose hips on the tree, of which I am not sure what tree it is.
It looks like a thorn apple, but some say its not....anyway.

Its going red..so they have a way to go still....
