This morning I discovered a baby coal-tit, loudly calling for his mom. I told him to stay there for a while, so I could get my camera. He did. When I came back he still sat there loudly calling for mom or daddy.
After several days of inspection, the coal-tits agreed that this is the nestbox. I saw them the last couple of days bringing in the construction for the nest. So beautiful to see what they all bring in to make it nice and comfy. Even some feathers were brought in, to make it very soft.
After a lot of inspection, another couple of coal-tits decided to have a new family in house number 8.
Through my bedroom window I have perfect sight on the house.
Today I noticed that the nestbuilding has begun.
Mosses and branches are now brought into the house.
Such a lovely sight!
I heard a thump on my glass window.
When I looked, I saw a young coal-tit trying to find safety in the rose.
He was gasping for air, being a bit undone.
To my relief he soon recovered and was able to fly away.
