young song thrush

A young Song thrush, zanglijster,(Turdus philomelos) is relaxing in the dish for the breadcrumbs.
He has still a kind of innocent clumsy look, which makes him so special.

What a funny little fellow he is! My husband bought a bird bath for me--it looks so great in my garden. This morning a big fat bluejay took a bath in it. And last night the little songbird had a try.
