This morning I caught a first glimpse of the pied flycatcher.
He has arrived again... all the way from Africa!
Last year I spotted him here on 17Th of April, now it is 19
He has a great accurate timing...!
Possibly he was here already a few days before I spotted him.
Anyway...glad to have him here again.
Male flycatchers usually come first,
the female arrives mostly one week later.
So I keep an eye on that!
