wings view

I always wanted to know and see how a ladybirds underwings looked like.
As they are always hidden under the red-shield, except when it is on air...
but than its not so very easy to see.

Today one sat indoors, in an effort to escape from the roses, I picked outside from the garden.
He was exercizing, folding and unfolding & stretching his wings for me to have a better view.
