egg

While going out with one of my friends M.
I found on a small road, along the river an egg.
I guess it was stolen from a nest and picked open by a predator
otherwise it would not lay broken on a road.

I took it home to find out what bird it belonged to.
I found it belonged to a common coot (meerkoet).
