Red Admiral

 Every day a butterfly (Red Admiral) comes having a sunbath at the end of the afternoon.

His wings are rather damaged, but he still can fly very good.

What would have happened? Was it a bird snapping at his wings, but he could escape?

Pigeons diving

 The wood pigeons are having a great time, and happily I was able to capture some of their happiness.

Oh my!... Pigeons are awesome divers!

Blue-tit

 This Blue-tit looks amazing when he is having is bath.

I love these young beauties, with their speckled outfit. Soooo lovely!!!!

Wagtail

 Its not often that a wagtail comes visiting to have a bath. However on a very warm day he sometimes comes.

He is so extremely quick and its a joy to see how he is ruffling and shaking to get his feathers all cleaned up.

 A beautiful couple of doves have taken a time-out near the pond in the grass.

Young Woodpecker

This is so great to see.

You can clearly see how this young woodpecker is enjoying his yummy snack.

Green woodpecker.

 Last night, already getting dark, I suddenly saw a green woodpecker climbing up the tree.

I always am happy when I see him, however because of his camouflaged outfit I rarely see him.

I do hear him when he is laughing his socks off. And that's the reason I love this bird so much. He laughs at fear and worry. He reminds me of the laughing horse in Job 39: 22 (He laughs at fear and is afraid of nothing.)

(Now in these days so helpful as a reminder during the covid fear. The spread of fear and control, attached to the fraud and cover ups, is actually more of a problem than the virus.)

Here, the green woodpecker is eating the black ants, who are running up and down the bark of this oak.

Dove bathing

 Seeing this dove, trying to have a bath, it gives me a real feel of summer. 

I was waiting for him to fall in, but unfortunately he did not.

Robin

 Its looks like Robin has a second nest somewhere, someplace.

He has yummy food in his beak for the young.

I saw are at least 3 young coming to the feeding basket.  
 

Woodpecker

Every time, when I hear 'thick-tjick', woodpeckers are around.

I just had put some oatmeal in the basket and within seconds they were there.

It seems the woodpeckers have young and with a beak full of oatmeal the parent flew off to feed his baby's.
