Wowie China stamps

When I was with one of my friends,

there arrived a small parcel by the mail from China.

When I saw the stamps on the box, I fell in love with the stamps.

growing buds

I think the buds have grown again!

The new buds of the Apple Serviceberry, (Amelanchier lamarckii), (Krentenboom)

are growing extremely fast, compared to a few days ago...

It will not take long to see the flowers.

Mole is so happy he just moved out...! (see the day before yesterdays post)

His house has become a little untidy.

A new path

Today is the day...

First heavy groundwork...breaking up the old.

Removing the hills and valleys of the old path.

Today an impressing truck delivered the new bricks.

Tomorrow and the days coming creating new path to my house,

and a path where there never has been one...to my front door.

It looks great!

To my surprise one of butterfly's has come out of his cocoon...!

Today, or maybe yesterday he has come out.

I had stored the cocoons all winter upstairs, where it is cold.

Last week I stored them in the garage, because there it is colder now and more dark.

So that they would not come out to soon.

Well, this one is in my opinion too soon out of his cocoon,

but there is no option to go back into the cocoon....

So I let him out for a flight.

Bibi sees the neighbour cat, who is making his daily walk through my garden.

By their looks you can tell....both are on the alert.

Bibi thinks that this is not allowed and takes the first step to confront the intruder.

Lovely spring weather,

birds tweeting, like the best!

flying everywhere around....seeking, mating, inspecting the birdhouses.

Then suddenly...the first butterfly!

A Common Brimstone, (Citroenvlinder) was hovering over my garden.

In a moment he was there, the second moment he was gone.

No camera around...

So I made an impression of the yellow blur.
