Lots of places to look for. He has such a good memory.
Once he found a nut on a certain place, he revisits the place days later to see if there are new ones.
Again this morning I put new ones out and soon he arrived to see for some more. He was very happy to find more I think. This time he did not berry or hide the nuts but ate them. He sat on the roof of my shed and so beautiful to see him happily enjoying his nut.
These two blackbirds I just finished.
As I love birds as you all know, over the years I made lost of photos of them in all sorts of ways and expressions. I wondered if I could paint them in oil. So I did and discovered so much fun doing this. I forget the time and all the weird stuff flying around in the world. This is great!
I had in mind one central theme from the Bible along with that:
Look at the birds in the air. They do not sow, or reap or gather into barns_and yet our heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not more valuable than they? Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life? (Math.6:26)
This has been great help when all things are going wrong in the world around.
So I spend lots of time to work on my new birds coming out of my brushes.
I had put some nuts in a flowerpot and yes! he has found them! and today he came looking at the same spots again, hoping that there might be new ones. However I had not thought of it to do so.
I think tomorrow I'll surprise him.
Mostly they are already gone before you can grab your camera or a car comes by before you can take your shot.
Anyway glad I caught one, though not the way I would like. but one buzzard far away is better than no buzzard at all.
He (or better say she) came for a drink from the pond.
You could tell she was very shy, constantly looking up and around to see whats around. After a quick drink she ran away on high heels.
