Turtledove having a bath

I have never seen him doing this.
The turtle mostly comes only for a quick drink to the birdbath
and then he is immediately gone.
But today he seemed to have no fear and forgot his shyness.
He went for a good, good bath, taking all time, no hurry.
I was the one who was privileged to witness his bravery.
