Again

Not only blue-tits are fond of Fluffy's fluff.

In seconds after I put it in the tree, they discovered the fluff.

The great-tit also admires a soft fluffy layer to store inside his nest box...

Nice cosy soft and warm for the little coming baby birds.

Buds of Malus

I wanted to make a photo of the Malus buds, when robin thought...

I want on the photo too!
He just sat down on the branch I wanted to capture.
The buds are almost ready...

Its extremely funny,

I combed Fluffy, to help him undo his extra loose fluff

and stored the fluff in the tree in front of my window...

Just in seconds there was the blue-tit again...helping to free the tree from the fluff.

As quickly as he could, in moments the fluff was stored in the nest.

Flying back and forth...as fast as he could.

Even the nesthole had a layer of fluff.

Everywhere where Fluffy has his favorite spot to sleep, there always is a layer of fluff on the pillows

He is molting this time of the year, so....lots of fluff.

I thought, maybe it is a good idea, to throw out the fluff outside in my garden...for the birds...

Because the blue-tits are building their house right in front of my window in the beech arch.

Its such fun watching them setting their house in order.

So I did.

I threw the fluff hair outside in my garden.

It did not take long that a blue-tit found the fluff.

He was so quick that I could not catch up with my camera.

I found more fluff and put it up in an tree, right in front of my kitchen window.

I sat down in the kitchen with my camera....and soon there he was!

Picking, plucking..pulling!

so lovely our teamwork!

I wonder how his nest looks like now.

all covered up with a soft warm layer of Fluffy's fluff.

After a long day building her house...she takes time-out.

Flycatcher update

The choice has been made!
The flycatchers have made a decision.
 Nest box 2 is the chosen house....the same one as last year.

Today I noticed the female collecting all the materials for the nest.
Beautiful, almost transparant lace-like leaves  and twirly branches were favorite.
Its lovely to see her making the special choices for the house.

Flycatcher having a bath

Flycatchers a quite busy taking their territory.
All unwanted birds are chased away, when they are coming too close at the chosen bird box.
One of the flycatchers is having a bath in between.

First flowers

This morning I had picked the first for-get-me-nots, skilla's and violets

and put them in a little vase on my table.

Fluffy thought...Oh nice!
