Continuing story Flying Red.

The snow became more and more.
Roodi was completely hidden under the blanket of snow.
Only his red tail peeked out.

In a way Roodi liked it to be hidden for a while, for no one to be seen.
It was kind of safe.
Though he was still hearing the scolding of the spider...
being a red monster!

Continuing story Flying Red.

Roodi walked a little, till he reached the end of the branch.
Not knowing where to go next.
He wanted to go home, back to his mother,
but he didn't dare to go back, because of the nasty spider,
who nicknamed him red monster.

It started snowing...
only a little of his red feathers were showing through the white.

The leaves of the Honeysuckle are coming out.
The light shining through the leaves forms a winged heart.
a heart with wings...
What do you want more?

My nephew M. went for a few days to Hong Kong last week.
I asked him if he could sent me a beautiful stamp from Hong Kong.
So he did...
Yesterday by snailmail, arrived this lovely BulBul-stamp...having red whiskers...
and the airmail stamp also in Chinese

Continuing story Flying Red.

After Roodi had rested enough, he stretched himself.
took a deep breath and continued his way.

Had been sleeping, but awoke in the middle of the night,
saw through my window this beautifull almost full moon.
having a halo around.

He crawled on the branch again
and rested for some time
because he was quite confused by all what happened.

Roodi was so frightened by this nasty, grumpy, scolding, angry spider.
In his flight, Roodi had ran so fast,
that he nearly tumbled down,
and nearly fell off the branch he was running.
He could grasp himself just in time to one side of the branch.

Roodi paniced with fear, because of the outburst of the spider-creature.
He did not know what to say or do.

Then the spider went on blurting out, scolding...screaming...
Ýou stupid red monster!
That's what you are; The most stupid red firy monster ever saw!
I will....... ...!
Roodi did not wait for what the spider wanted....
He ran away as fast as he could run.

Continuing story Flying Red.

After Roodi had walked for a while all by himself,
he suddenly bumped in on a creature dangling on a thin line.

The creature reacted very disturbed, because he was busy taking a nap.
and started to scold and scream...
What manners are that!
can't you look out!
While he almost exploded by his anger.

It has been raining.
outside and inside.

Today Tommy breathed his last breath.
He has been ill quite some time for which he got medication, which really helped him.
Though the last 2 weeks he did not want to eat anymore...
he did not want his medicine anymore,
So slowly Tommy faded away.
He was the most lovely cat of the whole world.

After a while, on a monday morning,
Roodi's mother had gone out to collect some food for the day,

Roodi thought it might be a good idea to go out.
Exploring the outside all by himself,
to see what's going on some place else.

anemones

Last week I went to a garden centre, to sniff in spring.
Every year I cannot wait till spring comes,
so I go to a garden centre to delight, saturate in the sight of coming spring.

Lots of vivid bright colors, ...the fragrance of spring is so delightful.
To my amazement I saw the blue anemones, blosseming in trays.
Mostly they don't have them so early...
Of course I could not resist, taking them home.

I found another ladybird.
This one being outside, sunbathing.

Or is it the one I recently put outside,
the one I found in my kitchen?
or is it a lookalike..

Then some moments later..the sun broke through..
and the bravest ones...opened their colors.

Suddenly they are OUT!
Some days ago, nothing to be seen in the grass.

The last couple of days...little brave spears peaking out everywhere.
I don't know what triggers them to come out all of a sudden all together.
As if they said to each other, whispering under the ground...
today..let go today... yeah lets go out today...,
Today is the day to come out..to see the blue sky...
lets go then... 7 ...8 o'clock in the morning...?

Well then here we are!

second golden egg

Had to post some letters,
but as the worth of the stampvalue was raised in the beginning of the year,
I went to the postoffice to get some extra stamps to upgrade the value.
On my way I remembered the stamps with the golden egg,
I got the golden egg for free as an extra bonus...last year.

I thought: 'Maybe they still have this offer of a free golden egg, if I buy those stamps again'.
So I asked for the Dagobert Duck stamps with the golden egg...
No.... they don't have anymore...all gone,
but then she grabbed behind the desk...she still had some golden eggs left!
and gave me one!
Yahooo!

Since I found the first golden egg and discovered the game on my new i-pad 'Angry birds'
I got addicted to angrybirds.
You can find golden eggs in the game...there too!
even the sounds are so exiting...hiiieuw...hH ...iIIIeuw!

Its still freezing..
The fountain is frozen with beautiful icicles,
meanwhile the water is still running.
