several red toadstools are out!
After spending a whole year in hiding
suddenly this week its their time.

'We've got 4 cookies'!, said a joyful child's voice on the street

'Yeh, but we 're only the 3 of us'...said another thoughtful child's voice.
Then silence...

I could hear them thinking loudly, how to solve this problem.

Its always a surprise to find what they have left after breeding.
three flycatcher's eggs have not hatched....
the other nest is from a great tit.

Its dark & raining.
I think: Bibi has a mouse..
I think: or he wants to be inside, because of raining.
I open the door,
look if he has a mouse, couldn't see, because of the dark.
Inside... suddenly runs this mouse around my legs
running for its life!
I make a kind of a dance
mouse runs away under the curtains

Bibi as a real cat, starts the chase again.
cat and mouse play,
and suddenly I am invited too in the game.
Mouse runs through the room,
Bibi runs through the room....
Catches the mouse.
as I catch Bibi, he drops the mouse...starts running again.
same play over and over.
Finally the mouse does not run anymore.
game over...

I pick up the mouse plus Bibi
and put them both outside in the dark & rain...

Late at night I saw a hedgehog sitting in the grass.
at closer look, I found out he was having dinner.
to my amazement he was eating a mouse

One of Bibi's (=cat) prey's...
which he had left there as leftover.
I never knew hedgehogs like mice too!

While making my coffee,
I heard a long shriieeeeeeee shriieeeeeieeeeeeee

never heard that kind of a sound,
so I looked out of my window, bit sleepy yet
could not believe my eyes

saw something Extremely blue flying.

then blue flying wings perched right in front of me.
A Kings fisher!

He posed there for a while
and then stretched his wings to fly to my neighbours
What an amazing bird!
