fly catcher

Grey flycatcher has been flying around for quite a while in my garden.
Every year he and she arrive all the way flying from Africa, coming to breed here.

To my surprise I saw her sitting on last years nest, in the vine
which I had kept there just for no other reason than that I like nests.
Now she has build a new layer on top!
