zero's and eights

Everyday a group of 10 to 12 doves are flying zero's and eights in the air. Mornings and afternoons they take their flight, weather or no weather is not important.
It looks so no sense, what they are doing, flying around in circles. To me it looks useless what for? going in circles and nowhere going.
But to them its joy, exhilarating life and endless energy...
Many times what I think is important in life, is not important at all.
And seemingly useless things are maybe much more important...
