Today a rainy day was expected, as we were told by the weatherman.Unexpectedly a became beautiful sunny day.
Lots of sunshine.
To my amazement I saw the Swallowtailbutterfly
(Papilion Machaon) (Koninginnepage) flying again in my garden.
hiphopping from one flower to another.
Such a surprise!
Also because this summer is not a very warm summer.
Swallowtails like warm temperatures and live mostly in the more warmer southern parts of Europe.

We have them here as well but not so much this year...weather is cruddy everywhere it seems!
