continuing story Mole

Mole noticed the birds were very hungry,
They were screaming, begging for food all the time.
He took some of his muffins,
and started to put small pieces of muffin in the open beaks.
They swallowed it with great eagerness.

Blue-fluff/PoesPoes

Its now one week that Fluffy/Poes-Poes lives in my house.
As the cat always runs away to this area, (neighbourhood)
The owners finally asked me If I wanted the cat
not understanding why, the cat seems to want to live in this area.


We agreed to give it a try.
Fluff/Poespoes is here now for a week,
and he seems to feel very much at home.
Poespoes/Fluffy has a very mind of his own, so I know that he can run away again.
But it's worth to give it a try.

Mole 14

Mole was quite surprised,
very, very much surprised, to be honest.
First he did not know what to do.
He stared at the birds with wide eyes,
meanwhile his brains were thinking topspeed.
What is this...how come?

It must be the eggs...
hatching...into 2 birds!
Mole sat down, he took the birds on his lap, to quiet them.
and to calm down himself as well.

Mole opened the door a little more,
then stepped backwards...quite astonished

2 white babybirds were standing in the door,
meanwhile loudly screaming for food
as if they expected their beaks were to be filled right away.

Mole 12

Mole arose to his feet.
He opened his door a little,
because he noticed that the sound came from inside the house.

He looked curiously inside,
to see to whom the squeaky sounds belonged.

Red on red

Red on red.

U-turn

Ladybird making a U-turn,
when he noticed that he reached a dead end 'street'.

I love the way he manages to walk on such a small blade of grass,
with his tiny acrobatic legs, without falling off.

Swallowtail visit

Today a rainy day was expected, as we were told by the weatherman.
Unexpectedly a became beautiful sunny day.
Lots of sunshine.
To my amazement I saw the Swallowtailbutterfly
(Papilion Machaon) (Koninginnepage) flying again in my garden.
hiphopping from one flower to another.
Such a surprise!
Also because this summer is not a very warm summer.
Swallowtails like warm temperatures and live mostly in the more warmer southern parts of Europe.

weeds

Sometimes You see plants in your garden, you did not plant.
Somehow they did manage to grow up without you ever noticing they are there.
Untill they are in bloom.

Weeds...
Somehow they have beauty of their own.
If you look at them with a fresh look.

Mole 11

All of a sudden Mole awoke.
He had heard a very strange highpitched loud squeaky noise.
He had slept for quite a while, but now he was fully awake.

What was that?

Mole 10

When Mole arrived home,
he stored all his yummy things in his house.

Then he sat down in front of his house, next to the door.
He had become very tired carrying this heavy bag full of shoppings.

He made a cup of coffee and ate some of the just-bought-muffins.

Soon after he had finished his coffee, he fell asleep

drops

Drops are dangling everywhere.
As the rain is falling almost everyday more than once.

Mole 9

On his way back home,
Mole saw Mrs Beetle rolling away a big white egg.
that was 4 times the size of herself.
Mole grinned in himself, because of the comic scene.

Speckled wood

I saw a butterlfy landing on one of my birds.
He sat there for a while, as if he wanted to take a break.
I do not see him often, so I grabbed my camera.
It is a Speckled wood, (Pararge aegeria), Bont zandoogje.

After a while, Mole had done lots of shopping,
with his loaded bag full of yummy things,
which he could hardly carry,
he returned to go home.

Mole 7

Continuing story Mole

Than he saw Hedgehog passing by,
he was slowly walking,
carefully carrying a red egg.
Holding the egg with wide distance in both hands,
as if he was afraid he would pierce the egg with one of his sharp prickles.

Poppies

The poppies I had sown in spring, are now full in bloom.
Sitting on the gardenbench among them,
my eyes drinking in the intense fragile reds and orange.
The sun and wind playing around, making them dance in the light and shadows.
Its of a mesmerizing beauty.

Even the hundreds of bees flying, hoovering, are enchanted, feasting on the nectar.
I could not choose which one to pick...
such an awesome beauty just on my doorstep.

Mole 6

Continuing story Mole

Mole continued his way to do some more shopping.
On his way, he saw that the Bunnies had been at Mrs Tsjick too.
They had bought some lovely eggs as well.

Ragged wings

Lots of butterflies are fluttering from one delight to another,
because I have lots of plants in my garden butterflies are fond of.

One visitor had probably had an accident.
His wings were quite ragged on both ends.
Maybe he escaped a birds attack for nearly being a snack.
