passionflower

Though there is still lying a little bit of real snow, I poured out 1 packet of instantsnow outside on the doves, who are posted at my door, under the shadow of the passiflora.
To my amazement when making the photo, I saw that there was a flower on the garland of the passiflora and some buds planning to open up.

Instant snow

Last week while looking around in a greenhouse between all the X-mas articles...,
I found instantsnow in little bags. Immediately I remembered my dream about buying instantsnow, which to me was very weird and silly...dreaming such a thing.
I mentioned about that dream on my weblog on august 7
snow 7 aug
I couldn't resist buying 2 little bags. The only difference was that this snow had to be mixed with water, not so with the dreamsnow.
Later it dawned on me that this snow too was packed in zipperbags...

icy parcels

It has been snowing again a little, and I can't help but to be fascinated and in wonder about that again and again...and... again...

Icy parcels of cristals, diamonds, gems and other precious stones which are lying everywhere.
Not for sale... only there for the moment.

twirl dance

Tonight it has been raining and wind blowing.
Most leaves that were still hanging on to their trees have decided to let go and jump.
twirling and flying thru the air on their journey down to unknown places.

The wind playing along and making them dance...

bathing leaves

drops

Glistening and shining on branches, leaves or here on an iron ring, the drops grow, and grow till getting too heavy and then fall... and then start all over again.

autumnleaf

The robin is almost camouflaged as an autumnleaf, which are lying everywhere now in my garden.
He is hardly to be seen while he is trying to pick the remains of the seeds fallen down between the leaves... out of the birdhouse.
Sometimes I call him my 'autumnleaf'.

ladybird on air

It looks always a bit funny , when a ladybird is on air.
It looks a little bit something like this...

glued on glass

The beatle still sits on my glass window, and I managed to make a better picture of his belly, using flash. In order to better see how his legs are attached to his body, and I wonder how he can sit all night and day on slippery glass...without getting stiff and getting aching muscles.
To me its amazing and wondering!

Ladybird on window

This morning again there was sitting/sleeping a ladybird on my window.
Don't know why they like to sit there, maybe its a nice place having a view inside & outside my house.
First it looked like sleeping, but as I moved around with my cam, he opened his red wing a little, so I could see a little of his underwing, with which he actually flies. the red wing is more a protection for the black-wing under.
Its perfectly folded there. but opens up when going off to flight.

watercolour

worked all morning on the first sketch and beginning of the watercolour of the nuthatch=('boomklever').
Decided later to make two of them on the vine. The couple had last year a nest in one of my tree-houses...

eye to eye

Here is one of my favorite birds..looking eye to eye...

sky-photo's

What happened to the sky-photo's that 'everybody' sent me on 28-11-05?
Well only one person did sent some nice pics, but they were not of that same day.
I wanted to make a kind of jigsaw compilation of all your sky's together...but that didn't work out..

But maybe you remember how your sky looked like that very day,
and might be worth remembering...

golden leaves

The leaves on the beech-tree are extremely golden today, with the sun and lights playing through the leaves. and the sound of the wind gently rustling through.
