Woodpecker

Its great to see, that the woodpecker has found the peanut butter jar, I recently put out.
I saw a male and a female today.

Brook of bliss

His tracks take me to an oasis of peace, the brook of bliss
(the waters of a resting place)
That's where he restores and revives my life.

I love it watching them.

A moment later he sat in the beech to arrange his feathers.
I never saw a bird doing that so quickly.

As I went outside to capture the robin, he was gone.
I waited till I saw another bird who was willing to pose.
I did not have to wait for it very long.
I noticed my very small friend Gold crest.
He was enjoying the birdbath, dipping himself in the water so very quickly.

First and second ladybird this year

While trying to keep up with my garden, which is a bit ahead in this season of the year.
I did some cleaning and cutting away plants that already want to come out.

Then I noticed a ladybird who was almost drowning in a pot of water.
I took him out and hoped he would survive.
A while later he walked a little, so that meant he still lived.
His wings a bit open, maybe for faster drying.

Then a while later I saw another ladybird sitting on the wall of my house.
He was running back and forth, probably he did not know yet exactly where he wanted to go.

Robinhole

Last week I decided to drill a robin hole in my shed.
I wanted to do this, since I have the shed, however somehow I didn't do it until now...
I bought a 32mm drill, big enough that a robin can go through.
I know Robins like to make nests in a shed...
So here is the invitation for robins.

Young robins video

As I had some problems last week with my computer, a good thing was that I noticed that my hard disc was almost full.
Because of that I decided to clean it up as well and make some back-ups.
While cleaning up I found some old video's I had made years ago!
Somehow I never took the time to finish it.
Bought some cables in order to get it down on my mac.
and surprise surprise!
So happy with these old films.

Mesmerising beauty

Last night it had frozen a little bit.
As the sun came out, I saw millions of little diamonds shining, sparkling all over the place.
The crocus had come out already because of the soft winter.
It was so mesmerising to see all these lights radiating and gently moving sparkling colours.

After several computer freezing screens we're one week further. not able to work on my computer.
Tried many things to get it back to work, which did not help at all.
Went to the repairshop twice, which showed when I was there, that my computer was absolutely fine.
No problems whatsoever.
It was working perfectly.
Back home the computer was frozen all over as before.
Drove me nuts!
Until I let go.
Today I found out my trackpad caused the problem...(sigh10 times)...sitting stuck under another thing, which caused the frozen screen.
How foolish one can be!

Anyhow my blackbird was sitting upside down in the birdbath...
Had to wait one week to get it out.
