Dragonfly

This morning I noticed a dragonfly, floating in the pond.
I looked closer, to see better if he was alive or already gone.
He did n't move anymore, so I could see very close.

His fragile, translucent wings are so extremely beautiful made!

Iwings 11 years

Iwings has his birthday today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
11 years on the wings!
While drawing, all the animals wanted to fly today...but that became too crowded,
so we had to choose.
The ones who stayed home were waving to the ones up.
even Fluffy helped me blurring the wet ink.

Drinking

Drops

It raining all day long, like yesterday and the day before yesterday.
Hmmmm, kind of have enough of all the showers.
Though in the garden, it is not that bad...

Thalictrum bells

Little fragile purple bells gently opening.
I you listen carefully you can almost hear them ringing and twinkling.

Mystical

When I looked this morning to the newly painted pond, together with M.
We noticed that on some places the paint had become white-ish, a much brighter color that the other parts.
I can't think of why or how that happened.
Wondering about that, M. said it was a unicorn...in the pond.
When we looked better it really was, kind of, if you use your imagination.
It even has wings.
The unicorn really makes you wonder.

Today I filled the pond again with water.
I had been empty and dry for some weeks, because I had to repaint the whole thing.
Today as I filled it with water,
suddenly there appeared these shimmering shining lights in the water!
So beautiful!

This lions face keeps coming up in my minds eye...
staring, looking....

sparrow

It looks like this sparrow had a bath in the gutter.
He was preening and cleaning himself so relaxed,
so that you can see he really enjoyed his time-out.

Swallows

While being away,
On my way I encountered these beauties.
Young swallows, almost ready for flight.
Being fed by their parents...in such a way, that I was hardly be able to capture.

Best spot for sleeping

Fluffy's favourite spot  to sleep on, is always on top of something I am drawing...writing...reading...

Hog 22

(Continuing story Hog)

Than, Rabbit whispered with tears in his eyes,
I now see...
I wanted to be good enough.
I never was, nor could....whatever hard I tried.
That's why it was so very very heavy.
I see now that I am enough.
Hog smiled and said, It's enough to be just you!
