Robin again

Everyday I notice robin arround.
To see if he can find some food.
He discovered the nut jar, which he loves very much.

Me too!

Robin splashing and fluttering

Today I noticed robin having a bath.
So funny to see how he splashes around.

Later he sat in the beech arch, for me hardly to see,
so I tried to get a better view. which succeeded half.
He tried to tweak his feathers by fluttering very fast.
In between he was singing.
So cute!

Autumn leaves

A thick layer of beech leaves was covering my entire garden.

Beech tree dropping them almost all, in one week.

Making path, driveway and grass invisible.

Lovely walking through, because of the crispy sound.

Before they were blown away into the leaves container, 

I quickly put some memories on my memory card.

and the blue-tit on the (bottom), it looks as if he knows the answer

White Rabbit 14

After some more talking, White Rabbit's eyes closed, opened, closed, opened and closed again.
said in between sometimes oh and yes, so that it looked as if he was taking part on the conversation.
The cats noticed he just be very, very tired, so they put him to bed.
The cats themselves quietly tip-toed out of the room, as to not awake him again.
Yellow bird stayed in the room to keep an eye on him.

lost and found

Probably a pigeon has lost these beautiful feathers.
looks to me like feathers from his neck. (wood pigeon)
I saw some more feathers nearby, which might be from the same pigeon.
Maybe a cat has tried to steal them.
I hope the pigeon is still alive.

White Rabbit 14

When they arrived at White Rabbits home, 

Black-cat examined Rabbits arm him very carefully

and put a soft bandage around his arm,

which helped very much for the pain.

Also they made some yummy things to eat and drink.

Monkshood

Monkshood is blossoming again.
Its always so nice to have in autumn some lovely purples in the garden.

Robin

This morning robin came very close again.

Such a treat!

Very tame winterrobbin

The winter robin has arrived.
A while ago I heard him singing, to claim his territory in my garden.
Each winter the robins are coming here from the the colder Northern countries.
The robins that have spent spring and summer here, have moved to more warmer southern countries.
Why? I don't know.

The new winter robin in my garden seems to to have no fear at all!
As I was arranging some pots and plants in my garden this robin dared to come so close, I could almost touch him.
Meanwhile being so close he was softly tweeting.
I tweeted back to him that he was such a very brave bird.
I grabbed my camera later on, and again he came so close that he did not fit on my screen.

White Rabbit 13

They found White Rabbit exactly as yellow bird had left him.

Sitting bended forward and having a very painful look on his face.

Bleu and Black-cat picked him up and carried him carefully back to his home.

While Red picked up all the stuff that was laying everywhere and put it back in the bag.

White Rabbit 12

Yellow bird told the whole story, about White Rabbits fall.
A moment later they all went in a hurry to White Rabbit to help him out!

 Yellow bird, found his friends Black-cat, Red-cat and Blue

lazing in the shade of a tree, having a picknick.

They looked very surprised, not expecting.....invited him to join.

'No, no,' said Yellowbird, out of breath

'I need help! very, very quickly'

'White Rabbit,...He has fallen....come with me and help him'!

Yellow bird flew as quickly as he could, to find some of his friends.

He hoped they were at home.

After a while, White Rabbit had crawled himself in a sitting position, 

by his looks one could tell he was not doing very well.

He groaned: 'Ow and ohhh my'...

So Yellow bird decided he needed more help.

Tooooooo Late!
White Rabbit heard the screaming above his head,
but meanwhile he crashed to the ground, not noticing a few stones on the road.

All his yummy things were smashed and he himself was even more white than ever.

Suddenly a yellow bird appeared above him...screaming, Yelling/tjirping on the top of his voice.
Watch OUT! ....watch OUT!!!,watch OUT!!! WATCH OUT!!

beetle colors

I found a beetle on the ground outside.
I looked if it was still alive, because it did not move.
I was n't.
I accidentally turned it over.
Beautiful shimmering shiny purples and blues on his belly and legs...so surprising all these colours!,
while his shield on the top-side was just dark greyish black.

With a bag full of various yummy, yummy delightful things,
White Rabbit returned home with a smile on his face.
Oh that is so great He thought, that he soon would fill his empty stomach. 

Catterpillar, Buff-tip

Today I saw a caterpillar running over the path.
I picked it up, to see what brand it was.
I thought I had found it years before...(2008, see my post here),and here, so I remembered the name of this caterpillar.
It was probably on its way to cocoon.
They find a little hole in the ground to pupate

It is a (Phalera Bucephala), (Buff-tip),(Wapendrager).
The butterfly looks like a piece of a broken twig of a silver birch.

White Rabbit arrived just in time before the market closed.
With a sigh of relief he found the right spot,
where he ordered his yummy carrots, veggies, eggs, apples and other delightful things.

He ran as fast as he could,
before the market was closed.

Rabbit looked a bit puzzled...what to do now?

nothing to eat!

He scratched his ears, to think better.

'Oh if I run fast, I can maybe ...go...'

Before he finished his thought, he started running.

He only found a box of washing powder, a bottle of vinegar,
salt and a bit of tea.
He then crawled on his knees to see if there was something left
on the lowest ground shelf.
'Nothing there' he muttered...

White Rabbit

'I wonder if there is something yummy to eat', mumbled White Rabbit,

as he searched in his cupboard for food.

'My belly is rumbling very loud'.
