Berries

Beautiful berries of the honey suckle.
I noticed a bird wanting to eat them, but I was too late to capture the bird.

Also my arm still cannot hold the heavy tele yet.
Only the macrolens I can handle a bit clumsy.

High up in the beech tree, I noticed this week a kind of a face.
Never seen it before.
It looks like a birdlike face with feathers at his head.
So funny it is sitting there for such a long time and I never noticed.

I dreamed yesterday-night about a very tiny little wren.
I tried to caress the bird on its little head...he stretched forward (its body became very long),
when it tried to bite me.

Woodpecker young

It is quite complicated for a young woodpecker,
to keep your balance when you want getting something out of a slippery jar.

Thalictrum

Thalictrum (Ruit) is playful blossoming, with its fragile flowers,
gently moved and kind of dangling by every breeze.

Surprise party for iwings

Yesterday was a surprise-day!
Unexpected all of my best friends came along...
(One of them had made sure I was at home)
and in secret they had arranged a barbecue and a bubbling party.
celebrating, iwings' 10 years of flying the air.

One of them had made a beautiful iwings-cart with many coloured feather-wings attached.
Mounted on a bottle of bubbling Champagne, which we of course drank.
Thank you all so much!!!!!!!!

10 years

10 years  on air!!!!

Today Iwings is ten years on air!!!!

10 years ago I would never have thought to continue such a long time my blog.

How many miles though the air would it have been, I wonder?

Rainy day

I tried to make some photo's again.
With my right arm in a cast I cannot hold the camera, because its weight is too heavy to hold it with the heavy tele.
I put the camera on a tripod, and tried to focus and push the button left.
That worked out enough to make a nice photo.

Its heavy raining today
and one of the young coal-tits is waiting for his turn to have a snack out of the jar.

which seems to connect to your creativity and intuition.

Doing thing righthanded seems to activate your left brain.

which is connected to your logical analytic reasoning.

I now try to make some deep tracks to my right brain side...

to make something good out of a bad situation.

Broken arm

So sorry to let you now,
last saterday I fell in the supermarket, stumbling over someone else's wheel of the shoppingcart. Smashed on the floor on my elbow.
X-rays sshowed 2 cracks in my bone.
Having a cast now, it is hard and difficult to draw or make photo's, because it is my right arm.
Typing with my left hand works. for now,
but making photo's I need both hands
Anyway it will be a bit more silent on my blog, because of this.
As soon as possible I will continue.

Feastmeal

A Song Trush is having his feastmeal on my doorstep.

So now and than I hear a high pitch banging and a ticking sound.
When I look...I see him knocking on a snail's housedoor.
The snail is saying he is not at home.
Then the ticking sound comes in.

Yeh and then afterwards I may clean up the dishes.

Drinking deep

This is what I waited for a long time to happen.
I saw it happen more than once, but then I had no camera to capture the happening.
So funny, makes me smile.

Life is better with friends

Recently I got a card from a friend.
Its such a lovely card.
How these two totaly different cats are walking together.

I also wonder how lucky the photographer must have been, to catch them so beautifully at one pace, tails so friendly together.

Clover

On my knees, low perspective.
In the grass is much more than grass alone.
There are growing lots of white clover.
And because it is dry and the grass not growing very fast, the clover started to blossem.
Everywhere are those little lights shining between the greens
