hedge hog 's late dinner

A late guest this evening , even more than one,
came to have a peak into Bibi's & Tommy's dish.
smack...smack...smack.

He didn't mind to pose for a photo.

then on high legs...he walked away.

The season is beginning again of "raining-down-acorns".
Last week I drew the first one I found.

Yet small...but that may not be for very long...
that they are going to fall down all together, because the oak tree is right above my terrace.
they always try to land in my coffee or tea.

Not only Bibi and Tommy enjoy their meals...

Could it be that this blackbird has had a hair/feather-cut too????
was it from the razor-blade raging, flying over my garden?
did he sat by accident on a branch that has been clipped ???
he definitely looks so...Oh my!!!!!!!!!!!

He is not green!..only the green should be cut.!!!!!!

It looks as if a flying hedge-shears has gone over my garden.
the buxus are shaved,
the wisteria has had a haircut,
so the vine...
and a huge razor-blade has flown over my conifer hedge,
cutting everything green it could get.

And the bench in my garden is not acting as a see-saw anymore...
because some terrace-tiles have been leveled.

Today friends visited...and helped me in my garden.
they brought along an unexpected lovely visitor, called Nike.
Nike loved to go playing with Tommy and Bibi,
who both were a little bit more than suspicious...
(I forgot to photograph their high backs, thick tails and lowered ears...)

tolerating Nike, ...but playing....????? ueehh ?
....cats and dogs...?????????
(though it was raining yesterday both of them)(see post yesterday)

so Nike enjoyed and played all by himself with his favorite ball.

Bibi played along with me.
sat next to me, on the table, almost sitting on my drawing,
then suddenly sweeping his tail over the still-wet-ink.

2 hedgehogs

Yesterday-late, I saw 2 hedgehogs roaming around in my garden.
as the wheater is warm, Bibi and Tommy have their meals outside.

Hedgehogs love catfood.
so they soon learned their is a very yummy something
in the blue dishes outside.

Dove soaking,... bathing in the water-well.

a hedgehog walked around, just before almost dark.
as we saw each other, he fled on high heels under the ivy,
its so nice to see, hedgehogs have rather long legs, when they're on the run.

Bibi extremely curious as always...stared big eyes
