 Even the fallen leaves have such beauty!

Rose

 A very beautiful rose is blossoming in my garden.

Its not time for roses anymore, but this one thought it to be the perfect time. 

Redwing

 

The berries in the common holly are ripe.

Since a few days I see that the redwing discovered the berries and together with the blackbirds they have a berry-party.

Squirrels digging up nuts

 Many times, I see squirrel coming to my garden and digging up a nut.

He knows where he put them and when he is hungry he goes to his storeroom.

Toad stools

 I went back to the place where I found toad-stools last year.

It was then a great surprise for me finding them. As I then thought I had missed them all because I was not able to go and search for them.

At first I did not see any. but when I looked better I saw two red ones! Maybe a bit small...

But to my relief it was something which is better that nothing. Then when I looked better, to my surprise I saw lots of small beginnings of toadstools as a small white dot.

That means I have to go back soon to see if they have grown.

Squirrels nuts

 The walnut tree of my neighbour is empty.

The squirrels have gathered all the nuts they could find and stored it safely everywhere. I wonder if they remember where they put them. And yes they do. I regularly see them digging up a nut and take it someplace else.

I think because of the great supply of nuts they have temporary hidding places to store them quickly to save time. lots of them I found in my plant-pots. Now they have more time they redig them in better places. So smart!
