There are definitely 2 robins in my garden,
they are singing to each other... like a duet.

I do hope a little nest in my garden will be the result.

the squirrel comes along for a drink
then after his drink, he mostly climbs on his outlook post
surveying... looking, where to go next.

goose egg

Yesterday while driving along a country road
passed along a farm where they sold real eggs
from free-range chickens.

Stopped immediately to buy some.
They also had one very huge big white egg laying there in a small basket.
The basket was just big enough that it fitted exactly in it.
tossed in a little hay, so it looked like a small nest.
Of course I took that egg with me
for only 0,25 cents.!
It seemed to be a goose egg
never knew these eggs were that big!
for a feast meal.........!

The nuthatch was having inspection of the birdhouse today.

I know the house desperately needs some restoration.
I don't know if he has noticed.
the framework of the roof needs restored,
the paint is falling off...
wait and see,
or shall I restore the house?

I saw the first ladybird wandering as well outside.
awakened by the spring sunshine...

Swedish moon

My friend K. has been to Sweden last weeks.
I had asked her to sent me a picture of the Swedish moon.
In January on my blog I showed you how the Germans look at their moon...(25-01-07)
and how my moon looks like from my garden...(see post 27-01-07)

No matter what circumstances,
He is singing on and on.
I decided what ever happens
whatever are circumstances...
rain or sunshine,
cold or warm....
good or bad... I gone worship the Lord

Because of the cold they fiercly stand up straight but closed.
like little spears, ready for opening up
when the sunshine comes through.
